Raki Kopernik


Raki is a queer, Jewish fiction and poetry writer. She is the author of The Things You Left(forthcoming Unsolicited Press 2020),The Memory House(The Muriel Press), which was a finalist for both the Red Hen Press Nonfiction Award and the Minnesota Book Award 2020, and The Other Body chapbook(Dancing Girl Press).

Her work has been appeared in numerous publications and has also been shortlisted and nominated for several awards, including the Pushcart Prize for fiction.

She holds an MFA in creative writing from the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics at Naropa University and lives in Minneapolis.
